Metropolitan State College
Another excellent educational institution that is found in Denver happens to be located in one of the older sections of the city. Metropolitan State College has been teaching nursing students the skills of the trade for the past 150 years. For those interested in applying at this school there are two options for degrees. There is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing for registered nurses who already have their associate’s degree or their nursing diploma. There is also an accelerated nursing option for those students who wish to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree who already have a bachelor’s degree in another discipline such as psychology or child studies.
Front Range Community College
Westminster, Colorado is the site of another school that makes our top nursing schools list. Front Range Community College is found in a suburban location and has been around for close to 50 years. At this college you will study human anatomy and physiology, microbiology, human growth and development and English composition.
At Front Range students can choose to study in a two year program to become a registered nurse (RN) or a one year program to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN). At this school you can earn either an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing or a Certificate of Practical Nursing.
